| AXIOM provides you with great power in the definition of quality
specifications for all parts. However,
as with many features in AXIOM, it is nearly impossible to generate a
user-friendly report of your quality specifications. As many of you already know, in order for
AXIOM to provide the flexibility to store user defined data, AXIOM
incorporates a technique that is clever, frustrated and convoluted. AXIOM stores user defined data in
open-ended character fields, where individual data is separated with pipes
"| and carrots "^".
Generating meaningful reports is elusive. A simple ODBC call reveals
fields that look like this: |
